1. Nature of this Declaration

This Accessibility Statement is voluntary. Viking Potatoes sp. z o.o., as a private entity (micro-enterprise), is not obliged to publish an accessibility statement:

The Polish Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities applies only to public entities - it does not cover us.

The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, implemented in Poland by the Act of 26 April 2024) excludes micro-enterprises from most accessibility obligations - it does not cover us.

Nonetheless, we voluntarily strive to align our website chcedointernetu.pl with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549, guided by values of inclusiveness and equal access to information.

2. Conformance Status

The chcedointernetu.pl website is compliant with WCAG 2.2 guidelines at level AA. The detailed information on the implemented solutions is provided below.

3. Implemented Accessibility Solutions

Navigation and keyboard:

"Skip to content" link - visible after pressing Tab, allows skipping navigation.

Full keyboard navigation - all interactive elements accessible via Tab.

Visible focus indicator (:focus-visible) on all interactive elements.

Mobile menu supports the Escape key to close.

Services mega-menu opens with both mouse (hover) and keyboard (focus).

Testimonials carousel navigable with arrow keys (left/right).

Structure and semantics:

Correct heading hierarchy (h1 - h2 - h3) on every page.

Page region landmarks: <header>, <main>, <nav>, <footer>.

lang="pl" / lang="en" attribute on the HTML element.

Breadcrumb navigation with proper schema.org structure.

Native HTML5 elements: <details>/<summary> for FAQ, <button> for actions.

Contrast and readability:

Text contrast meets WCAG AAA (7:1+) for primary and secondary text.

Responsive layout - correct rendering on mobile and desktop devices.

Relative units (rem/em) in typography - scales with browser settings.

No text embedded in images.

Images and multimedia:

All images have alternative text (alt).

Decorative icons marked with aria-hidden="true".

SVG graphic elements with appropriate accessibility attributes.

Forms:

Label association (<label>) with form fields.

autocomplete attribute on fields (name, email, phone).

Form status messages with role="alert" - announced by screen readers.

CAPTCHA (Cloudflare Turnstile) with native accessibility support.

Animations and motion:

Support for prefers-reduced-motion - animations disabled for users who require it.

No flashing elements (WCAG requirement for seizure prevention).

Assistive technologies:

ARIA attributes: aria-label, aria-expanded, aria-live, aria-hidden.

Testimonials carousel with role="region" and aria-label.

Interactive game (Marketing Rocket) with aria-live="polite" - announces results to screen readers.

Minimum touch target size: 44x44px (WCAG 2.2).

4. Known Limitations

We are currently aware of the following limitations in meeting WCAG 2.2 AA requirements:

Content added by editors via the CMS - content published by Blog and Knowledge Cards editors may in rare cases not include all accessibility attributes (e.g. alt text for images). We update detected gaps editorially.

Third-party services - elements embedded from third-party services (Google Maps, Cloudflare Turnstile, contact forms) may not fully meet WCAG requirements, which is outside our direct control.

Occasional downloadable documents (PDF) - the Site as a rule does not provide permanent downloadable PDFs, but occasionally published materials may not be fully WCAG-compliant. On request we will provide an alternative form of the document.

5. Complaints Procedure

If you notice accessibility barriers on our website:

Contact us - describe the issue and provide the page address: email ratunku@chcedointernetu.pl , phone +48 732 067 200.

Response time - we will respond within 7 business days and implement a fix within 14 days.

Further steps - if our response is unsatisfactory, you may:

file a complaint with the Polish President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection ( uokik.gov.pl ) - if the matter concerns a consumer and is related to violations of collective consumer interests;

bring a civil claim before a common court;

contact the Polish Forum of Persons with Disabilities ( pfon.org.pl ) or another entity active in the area of digital accessibility.

Note: this declaration is voluntary. Viking Potatoes sp. z o.o. is not an entity covered by the Polish Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of public entities. Complaints to the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights regarding this matter are not handled (the Commissioner has competence only over public entities).

6. Technical Data and Accessibility Audit

Accessibility standard: WCAG 2.2 level AA.

European standard: EN 301 549.

Technology: Astro + EmDash CMS on Cloudflare.

Site languages: Polish (pl), English (en).

Assessment method: WCAG 2.2 AA self-assessment plus automated tests (Google Lighthouse and internal AI-based tools - analysing alternative text, contrast, heading structure and navigation).

Date of the last audit: 21 April 2026.

Test result: 44 automated tests passed, 0 critical errors. Minor issues detected were fixed before publication of this declaration.
